That surprises me....Takes me back to a Muck Show at Stoneleigh in late 80's:
The chap demonstrating the Collins got hopelessly stuck while piling muck up. Once he'd extricated himself using the telescopic boom to push himself out, the Sanderson and JCB boys took the pee by successfully driving axle deep in muck! Didn't do Collins sales too much good.
Also I think it depends if it was the 2wd or 4wd version! I rather like my 4wd but then I'm biased I guess and it was cheap as chips to buy plus it came with about half a ton of free manure in the cab! Do you still have any bits floating around @steveR ??That surprises me....
The big wheeled chassis always seemed pretty good off-road to me A local veg farm ran two in the fields, as they worked well!
