Colour Change

The colour change is not a good idea for us oldies. Even worse if I try to select text -- even paler green on white doesn't work. Like the trend for using pale grey fonts on a white background on some pages. Al;right for you youngsters but very annoying for anyone with bad eyes. Small fonts we can enlarge, poor colours we are stuck with -- unless we move elsewhere.

Are you on a mobile? Change settings to night mode?

By the way - the text is still the same black font on the same white background so I suggest anyone claiming they suddenly can not read it should book an eye test fast !

That's green text below your avatar. Also, the notes below the post (Report, Edit, Delete). Can't see them? Well, that just proves how bad it is! BTW, that's white text on a green background (Post reply, Preview) below this post if it's giving you trouble.:giggle:

Same here, using a Chromebook. Not much better on the desktop either, but that has better contrast... abit!

On another thread, it says to scroll down the page and click on The Farming Forum 217, then the link of the same name that pops up. Seems to work (until they "improve it"). Though why we've been exiled here I don't know. Surely that will be an infringement under age discrimination legislation?

Don’t you know we are living in lockdown!!!!
A letter advising me my eye test was due arrived in the post lunchtime Saturday, Boris locked us down Sunday before I could get the test booked so I know I need an eye test and there’s not much I can do about it so don’t be so bloody cheeky and listen to what people say, in my current state it is almost impossible to tell the difference between links you have read or not and also to read the links embedded within a post

edit. Yes only just managed to see that button because I had a rough idea where it was but it’s not very obvious, the save, preview, post etc. Buttons white writing in a green box is fine.

ps. The most common form of colour blindness is red/green, have you tried the new colour scheme on that group, if so what was the response?

Just read the colour change thread seems this is a short term colour change to support a grassland event and not a lifetime change, apologies for the rant but this wishy Washie green is not good on the eyes.
