Update on soil/crop conditions across Canadian Prairies from @Blaithin and @Flatlander would be good, but we all know it’s a huge area , to comment on. Thankyou
Crop is mostly all in here and off too a good start. Soil moisture is holding but not good and no rain in the forecast. Need something or plants are going to hit a wall.

South of highway 1 sounds bad. Crops in the ground 30 days aren’t any farther ahead than crops in a week here.

Even if they manage to persuade Putin to let some grain out it still has to meet quality requirements. Whose to say its not half knackered, be very few store workers maintaining the place if there all fighting, plus they have to find people to load it amd get the ships in without blowing them up. Merchants bulling the market to get some cheap grain as I don't think they have the stomach for 400 quid a tonne. But f**k em they can wait for it.

Reality is the world is caught in an inflation bubble. Before long earnings will match inflation and what we deem high prices now will be the norm. Bit like when petrol hit a quid. Everyone though it would lead to the end of everything as people wouldn't be able to afford to travel anywhere. Bet we all wish it was a quid now. Most governments will look to quantities easing measures etc. The debt clock will gain another digit.

Alternatively the bubble will finally burst for a change and the sh!t will well and truly hit the fan.

Exciting times.
