Exactly my thoughts, I'd be very surprised if there's that much in Ukraine. Government desperate to get prices and inflation down. There’s no way that there’s 25 million tons stuck at the ports .
Yeah but how much of it is left, in marketable state and situation? I don't deny for one minute their importance in the world grain trade but also don't believe they have that much warehousing close to the ports.Hate to break it to you but ukraines 2020 harvest was 38million tons of corn and over 60 million tons including legumes etc. The ukranian flag is blue and yellow to highlight the two biggest masses....... the sea and the corn fields !
And surely they were exporting as normal until the Russians went in.Yeah but how much of it is left, in marketable state and situation? I don't deny for one minute their importance in the world grain trade but also don't believe they have that much warehousing close to the ports.
Some is now conrolled by the RussiansYeah but how much of it is left, in marketable state and situation? I don't deny for one minute their importance in the world grain trade but also don't believe they have that much warehousing close to the ports.
I think it's the vigorous tug jobs folk are giving thinking that Ukraine can get boats past Snake Island now.Markets down today, what crap has USDA come up with then?
Putin will send a couple of big ones in to Odessa , that should quantify the situationI think it's the vigorous tug jobs folk are giving thinking that Ukraine can get boats past Snake Island now.
Snake Island may be heavily booby trapped. And not good boobies. Well, that's what I would have done - big bomb bPutin will send a couple of big ones in to Odessa , that should quantify the situation
Russia cant send any more ships into the Black Sea because Turkey has closed the Bosphorus to their ships.Putin will send a couple of big ones in to Odessa , that should quantify the situation
Not sure its going to be there, and Nov24 will be less and back to normal levels.. High prices cure high prices remember... so when will you use this fert is the question?Well I’ve got the Fert for 23 harvest payed 712 for 26n 37so3. Couple of loads of urea at 735. Last one at £700. Wheat really needs to be £260 for nov 23 or I will not sow any.
Fert keeps well. Could fallow half the farm. Not sure its going to be there, and Nov24 will be less and back to normal levels.. High prices cure high prices remember... so when will you use this fert is the question?
To roll over or not,I've got several 100 ton left over from 21 harvest, spoken to several grain traders and they have all said to roll it over tiĺl the autumn.
Farmers have stopped selling I've been told and it's gone very quiet, luckily I have storage.
Anyone else rolling crop over or with a crystal ball?
Have they started on the wheat in France yet?
It will be fine. The imports just get dumped over here in the same heap as the tickboxed RT stuffYeah but how much of it is left, in marketable state and situation?
