I've a foot in both camps and would much rather sell feed to a livestock farmer than merchant. Never any issues with deductions etc for feed from a farmer.

That's the problem you all want top dollar for it farm to farm whether it's top dollar product or not. Accept deductions without a murmur from a merchant but never speak again to a neighbour if he wants any money off. Don't take it personally I buy all my corn in and buy none from farmers its not worth the hassle.

Well I'm putting most of my OSR into store hoping the price will rise like it did last year.
Instead of selling at harvest like we usually do ..... Probably crash now I've don't that :-(.
We need to sell/move as only room to keep the wheat in the store at home

I hope for you, you're right. Cashed mine in. and talks of mega yields locally (yeah I know it's a global market)
In other news, offered £150.00 off the combine if I can get it very soon, weather is against me :(

a weather market is on round here but these showers and daily rain are making things difficult to say the least
I know, think I'm going to try something, not sure whether it will be wheat or oats. Wheat rubbing out at low 20s before dinner, haven't rubbed the oats out yet. I know it's just recreational combining but I like to have a bit of something in the shed to dry, even though I know I should just let mother nature do it.
