Thought the vicon was a kv in different colours?
Only striping I've had with kv was blends spreading badly.

Very true. Vicon, kv and kubota all same bits I think.

Next door and I have spread the same bags, I’ve not striped.

We get on very well but I can’t help winding him up......;-)

not sure why the weather today would be any indicator of what it will be like 6-8 weeks from now ?

If anything I would say this wet spell will add potentially millions of tonnes to UK wheat output in what could have been a disastrously dry year ........ certainly saved by the bell here and this rain its probably worth 2t /ha plus on wheats here had it not rained at all

Alot of wheat 2012 looked fantastic until it started raining and didn't know when
to stop.
Alot of 4. Somethings turned into 2.somethings.
Yes the rain was very welcome and if the weather plays
ball then it will add atleast what you said to yield .
Two easy harvests in a row well that will be something!

2012 I left a wedding early to go do a block of t3. Could watch the tractor wheels push the water up the tramlines that we yay deep. Ground was so wet osr roots rotted in the soil.

Fall Army Worm spreads to a further 3 Chinese provinces (now 18 in total since January), "expected to reach the (Chinese) north eastern corn belt this month or July".

Is it just me, or is global farming this year starting to look a bit 'biblical', as in the 10 plagues of Egypt?
-African Swine Fever in China
-Fall Army Worm, China
-US floods and tornados
-Canadian hail and June frosts

Next up:
rivers of blood,
day turning to night,
plagues of frogs...

Looking at the Countryfile weather forecast earlier you had better start building an ark - you have until Tuesday afternoon!! we here in the Fens are taking to higher ground tomorrow.

Having driven around a bit in the last few weeks It seem every third field is barley of some kind and certainly the winter stuff looks fairly good ,,,, what might be a good price , a poor price or a average price for Nov through to Feb

AHDB today reminding us all not to get carried away. (decent wheat crops everywhere)

US corn belt continues somewhat too wet in the last few places with a lot of planting to do (Ohio and Indiana), while some other areas are wishing for a splash.
Yellowbelly is right, the combines will tell the truth but meanwhile the narrative appears very bullish corn in as much as US wont have any spare...may even end up short.
So then you remember fully one third of US corn goes to ethanol, which has no love whatsoever in the Trump administration. Crude is drifting down...NEWSFLASH.. two tankers in trouble in Straits of Hormuz. Everyone says its Irans fault. ....

Overnight trading has dec CBOT corn approaching crucial 4.54 point. (It must break thru soon or its bearish)

Where does wheat go...no idea but i don't think down.

EDIT CBOT dec just broken resistance

For someone who doesn’t like ethanol trump has just increased the inclusion rate to 15% all year and will remove a lot of corn off the market
