the way i see it Boris wont put a land tax on us but he will cut support and turn us into park keepers, pound will strengthen and farm incomes will drop

Tbh it won't be a problem for you Scots as you're next to be negotiating a leave deal, although Krankie may find the terms quite rough. English devolution next.

It's tricky , £ will strengthen , but there could be a big shortfall in stock next year ,
Not sure why £ it will strengthen. Dropped dramatically on Brexit vote, now full Brexit is more likely than it has ever been.
Although there are economic issues in Europe that long term I can see Euro weakening.

Solid green day across the board....hmmm

Gut says "buckle up - tightly"

Head thinks that it is over exposed to the slow-motion car crash going on in the field 30 yards away, and replicated all over apparently. (Bits of sand notwithstanding). But Russia can still bury us in spare wheat......or can it ??

I still think that slow motion crash is going to be incredibly slow.

Well in my area the particular car i'm watching in is "wheat planted not emerged", and that vehicle is spinning out of control and about to smack a huge oak !
I can't deny that and there is a lot similar round here, and a lot not yet in the ground. It is the time it is going to take to influence the market that I am questioning. A local, huge user and producer is well aware of potential issues and is stock piling already in preparation, I bet he's not the only one.

Feed wheat is going to hit £150 plus ex from Feb on .
The pounds not going up with all the Brexit uncertainty
regarding deal or no deal.
A large quantity of wheat was sold forward which has
covered the months until the end of Jan that's why
demand has been muted until now.

The markets in USA is climbing much higher which
seem to be the benchmark for world prices so little
to worry about.
Another sign is when grain trading companies you
haven't heard from in a long while start ringing and
speak to you like some long lost relative that they've
been searching to find.

STICK,STICK,STICK.
