Combinables Price Tracker

Wouldn't that brake some sort of Anti Competition law..?
Where by you would be influencing marketability of your crops..?
Think the NFU would have something to say about that.....

Oh wait, hang on..
Obviously, we would only ever discuss such a thing over dinner provided foc by our loosely termed "association of British cereal growers" meetings.

Just spoken to my old man and he’s convinced he told him £202 for November! I’ll find out on Monday, could be my old man getting confused 🤦‍♂️.
I know I said I’ll be sitting on a lot of wheat till November at that price 😂
im an old man and i get confused , got to leave more to the lads!

Getting grain prices Is pretty much the only ringing round he does now, I organise all the seed, fert, chem and pretty much all the other deals so don’t really want to take that job off him as well, it’s good to keep the brain active!
my brains active , but god it is getting slow i think the ecu needs up grading , plugging in to the laptop!

Slow to move HC beans here too. That’s not causing me a problem as we are being paid to store them.
Are they sold as HC?
Or feed with HC premium as applicable?
The Aussies have poured cheap beans into Egypt since they harvested.
Pretty much killed the HC market in this country this year.

Growers and agronomists now face the dilemma of an early application to remove competition from emerged wild oats, or holding off to allow more weeds to germinate.

Syngenta grassweeds technical manager, Georgina Wood, urges Axial Pro treatment as soon as conditions allow, once weeds are actively growing.

“That offers the chance to control wild oats more cost effectively at lower rates, whilst there is still the flexibility to tailor application rates up to 0.82 l/ha for larger or over wintered weeds and difficult situations.

“The variability of crops and situations this season means decisions for appropriate Axial Pro rates and application techniques will need to be made on a field-by-field basis,” she advised.
