we have a couple like that, one called on friday. Don't do themselves any favours in the long run
It’s a good way of knowing when to hold though and gives a feel for what’s going to happen in the market.
Personally I’ve a good chunk still left to sell yet and I’m sitting tight for the foreseeable as don’t need to move any. However I probably should have sold it all when prices where in the 230+ range but like to spread my bets a bit and who knows what will happen yet! I’ve no regrets on what I’ve sold up to now anyway.

Just to avoid any confusion, Dalmark’s exit from grain trading was a strategic business decision and conducted in an orderly and honorable way. The books were closed with every seller being paid in full and every buyer taking delivery of their purchased grain.

I have dealt with Daltons for the whole of my farming career and have found them a very good company to do business with.

Perhaps, the USDA report isn't quite the reflection of reality that it usually is ...
Think it’s the thought of an escalation in the Russia Ukraine situation. If that kicks off, hold on to your hats. Not something anyone wishes to happen but as a region of cheap supply that will cause a decent rise in prices.

I'll not be overly concerned until Mariupol is governed by the Donetsk People's Republic. I'd be looking to control all the edge of the Sea of Azov if I were a russian tactician.

Mariupol is 50 percent russian by population.

You should think of this more of a reunification than a russian invasion.
