Why £350/t??
is it short?
I only got to £293 for malting barley.:(
That is just terrible. :ROFLMAO:
It is terrible but was posted in jest.
The last load is going to wait for £300 now!🙄🤞☺️
Best I've been offered recently in Fife is 260 for Diablo malting but heard laureate up at 275 .
so.........is there a real demand for malting barley just now?,i seem to be really struggling to gain inspiration/confidence to commit again to grow malt barley,as speaking to my malsters rep a few weeks ago,i asked about contracts?,his reply was fairly" maybe"s aye maybe"s no",they wont be offering the contract i had last year?!,so i asked what is the burning question to me,....if i commit to 20k per load of fertiliser!!!...will they at least garauntee that i should cover my costs????.........no was the answer, but hopefully the price should have a 2 in front of it!!!!!o_O:cautious::banghead:

A man has pleaded guilty at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in Newtownards, Co. Down.

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbot’s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined £150 each and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gill’s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.

Discussion with Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) officers confirmed the site...
