My cousin co-directs a large hedge fund that specialises in commodities, I spoke to him last week and he reckoned war in Ukraine would mean massive gains for wheat.

Haha, you’re like all my grain traders. Only ring when price is about to go up, never when it’s about to fallmarkets are far more exciting when bullish - i don’t do short selling so have nothing interesting to say when markets are falling

sky news an hour or so ago actually mentioned that the ukraine situation may have an impact on the price of bread!!!...........i doubt the bbc have made that assumption yet
