Big yield. First wheat after grass. No late N. 220kg/ha. Protein right for yield.

At what yields / N Rates ?

Between 3- 3.75t acre guesstimate depending on field. (Not weighed) Trinity on the lower side and Crusoe definitely heavier. Approx 160 kg N ha.

Cutting Zyatt 1st year for us. 15.6% moisture and still cutting. No idea proteins. Will find out in a couple of days. Yielding stronger than our crusoe with same N rates.
Great bit of wheat.

the dust flying.
Combines on everywhere from North to South Hereford late last night.

Missed the rain we had in north Shropshire then. It was raining hard at 9pm here. I’d combined a few trailer loads , but had to run for cover.

My brother managed to keep on baling to 2am .
About 7pm we had a few spots but then it stopped.
Grain was in the 15s with us but spoke to someone
who was on south Hereford cutting at 20% so
quite a difference over 30 miles.
