May futures for wheat is down to £200. The £ is gradually getting stronger. Does anyone think there is still an upside to the current crop market?

I sold a bit at £215, delivered, it went up a bit a few days later, was thinking I'd got it wrong I probably did, but not sure in which vway?I was offered £215 a few weeks ago. I'd bite their hand off for that now.
Best to sell on a rising market than a falling one, it’s just how close to the peak you can get.I sold a bit at £215, delivered, it went up a bit a few days later, was thinking I'd got it wrong I probably did, but not sure in which vway?
I dont think there's much money to run out of, it's been spent on internet and in particular Amazon shopping. Is anyone expecting I hike in milling wheat when lockdown restrictions are lifted or am o kidding myself , I do think the country will go mad for a couple of weeks before people run out of steam and money!
If anything the demand for flour went up during lockdown! There was a lot more people cooking and baking. At one point you couldn’t buy flour anywhere as mills could keep up with demand. So if anything I would think demand will fall as people go back to work and back to there food on the move diets. Is anyone expecting I hike in milling wheat when lockdown restrictions are lifted or am o kidding myself , I do think the country will go mad for a couple of weeks before people run out of steam and money!
Was very true in the first lock down , second one I think the home bake brigade lost the war time mentality and the small mills aren’t doing much milling at allIf anything the demand for flour went up during lockdown! I agree. I have just bailed out as well and sold my remaining wheat.Just sold feed wheat for £196 ex April and feed barley £165 ex May, was starting to get nervous that they might drop further and these prices are still good albeit off the top
I don't think flour demand went up that much, the demand just switched from bulk to consumer packaging and the mills didn't have the infrastructure to cope with it.If anything the demand for flour went up during lockdown!
