Doesn’t make sense feeding it to cattle at that
Its going to be an expensive boatload of barley

After selling a load of Planet malting barley for the princely sum of £293t the other day( yes I have posted the price again and still smug about it!) I rang up today to see if I could get '£300' but alas no joy, now £285.
Never have I sold a cereal for that money!

I have a sneaking suspicion that all of the companies that are paying big money now, are going to want it all back next year, with interest...

It should be 1000 pounds a ton , the mark up on beer is astronomic

I would have started selling at £220/t and drip feed out a couple loads at a time as price rises or falls.

We are buying back feed barley which will take some of shine off it.

It's £220 home. Most blends seem to be costing barley/wheat in them around £300/t
