No I can imagine. Spoke to someone who has a fair few laying hens. He reckoned it was costing him £6/bird/60weeks and that was a few weeks ago so I can’t imagine the numbers look any better now! We all need to be able to make money somehow.My chicken farmer brain doesn't like any of it.
Great work, but the packers and supermarkets aren’t listening yet, I doubt they will till there actually are no eggs on them shelves.
