This time last year nov 2021 wheat was 160
by november it was 225 then fell back to low 200s till putin invaded and went to 360 before falling back to 300
this year nov22 has been up to 350 now 270to 280
looking around the world
india is producing the lowest crop for years USA has big yield reductions
even without the Ukraine war the production would be below consumption
ethanol production is now consuming more grain than ever with animal feed production from these plants also at record production the higher protein feed produced repces some high priced soya or rape meal
uk prices in June and July for new crop on average are the lowest prices for the year
if feed wheat prices track maize prices then all milling premiums for gp 1 to 3 will rise
Kansas bread type wheat is quite a bit higher than Chicago soft type wheat
if the uk has good harvest weather then we will easly compete for export wheats especially in to Iberia from the south coast
