Remainder of 2021 and all of 2022 will be sold in the New Year.
What price were you waiting for? £350 not enough?

I think Bob is a secret remainer too.Remainder of 2021 and all of 2022 will be sold in the New Year.
Wish I could do that. The Fert bill. Pre em bill the diesel bill the wage bill the electric bill. I will have to start selling around October.
late sale OK, but not if you still havnt sold it! our sales ranged from £187 at harvest to £330 june and variable lots in between . more than happy on every day we sold ! all sold spot. Thanks to the buying group most major inputs won’t been due until the New Year either.
The beauty of late sales is that increased price has more than covered any cost of finance. It’s been a slow process but the last few years I’ve slowly managed to move later and later.

Likewise, but Jan, Feb March, April, maybe next year I'll pay more attention to a mass balance sheet, but I will always happily undersell tonnage then oversell. Only 3 or 4 loads adrift but enough to anoy me.Agreed. I would have been happier selling it all but merchants didn’t move March grain until May which pushed everything back a bit.
Everything happens for a reason…
Surely your Grain Balance thingy would tell you how much was left!Plenty. I couldn’t sell it all at once as I didn’t know how much was in the shed. Need to shift a bit, assess it, shift a bit more etc.
Where can you get it recalibrated I'm intrigued?Surely your Grain Balance thingy would tell you how much was left!

A lot on the trading site are/were debating when to get back into wheat, it's really interesting to see some of it from their perspective, they shorted wheat and made a packet on the way down and will want to go long and ride it up again. Just like Copper, lots made shortingFarmer speculators very quiet at the moment.
