Somebody had a grinder wagon roll some barley in our yard last week, and sure it was £18/£19 per ton.
It was quick and efficient and I don't know why you'd try to buy and run a decent mill of your own, at that.
Usually called the mobile mill/mix. I wouldn’t advertise the fact you hosted the grindr mobile roadshow at your place, or how cheap and convenient it was compared to doing it yourself 🤣

Doubt they will see any of the corn till its value has been multiplied several times.

In the meantime handy for keeping the price of homegrown down.
R&H Hall ( owned by W&R Barnett)bringing 33,000 tonnes to Dublin & Foynes Port .. animal feed , meanwhile very little feed being sold to beef farmers and “NO” it would never be to depress prices !!!🤬… Believe the commercial director of R&H Hall said it was a momentous occasion for the company to help Ukraine 🇺🇦… You couldn’t make it up ,, Really!!

They also operate out of Belfast and presumably can ship stuff back and forth across the border. No doubt you would need a sticker should they lower themselves enough to buy British.

One of the first few grain ships coming out of Ukraine is heading for Ireland or UK.
Sounds a bit like the supermarkets buying boat loads of lamb from NZ in when it’s peak season here, unless it’s maize or sunflower or something we don’t grow I can’t see why they would need to put wheat/barley or rape anywhere near here. Unless of course the boat is taking back something useful for the Ukrainians but I thought that was banned 🤷‍♂️
