Hi Clive as above is that your combine or someone else's . Must be a good reason to be parked outside rather than under cover??

He explained somewhere else, Twitter maybe, that it was waiting to be washed before putting away.
Where I worked years ago, that combine was left outside pretty much till late spring, all the sheds that didn’t have a rodent problem had either straw or grain in them, it was safer to leave it outside, the old boys before us found out the hard way that putting in any shed, that had rats, was a mistake come service time when lots of electrics needed replacing.

Thanks for the explanation, but with combines costing so much and with so many electronics I cant understand why a simple clear span shed enclosed on three sides with rubble floor , cant be justified, as a shed is always useful, and relatively in expensive compared to the cost of new combine ,the size that TWB farms operate .

I agree, mines undercover as much as possible, I put it away every night where possible during harvest, I’ve blown it down after harvest and it’ll sit in it’s open sided (rat free) shed until it’s washed next year and got ready for harvest. It’s 10 years old now and still get comments on how good condition it is.
