Have ran a tx34 for the past ten seasons and been happy with it but looking to upgrade to something newer ideally 2000-2010 era.

What would be the equivalent cx new Holland be, would consider class or jd.

Crop is nearly all barley, not huge acreage, not looking for more output just newer with less hours. Not sure if the jd is decent in barley?

We replaced our TX 34 with a TX 66, a nice big step up in output, physically it is quite a bit bigger so moving it around is a bit of a pain.
The last of the TX combines are about 2006 so it will fit in your time frame, At the moment you can get quite a lot of TX combine for your money, 5 walker one hold their value better though, but if you can cope with the size of a 6 walker then there are more to choose from.
I'm not so sure with the CX combines, i think that the earlier ones are 700 series as 5 walker and 800 as 6 walker machines,

If you are going to keep it a while find as new as possible 5 walker CX, they drive really nice, and maintenance is a fraction of what you have now, as a bonus a CX wont look anything like outdated as a 6X in ten years.

Changing our cx8040 (5walker) at the moment, been a great combine,a CX will have a good bit more capacity than your 34,we run a 20ft header on ours and it will comfortably cut 5-6 acres an hr in wheat, barley or osr.
