Combine tyre pressures

What pressure do you normally run your combine tyres at?

Get a fair bounce on the road with ours so thinking of upping them.

18psi could go as low as 14 if working on flat ground. I'd keep them as low as possible to reduce soil compaction.. how much time on the road do you spend compared with time in the field

Wow. I have IF tyres & need 32 psi! If on a long road journey you can let them down a fair bit as you won't have 4+t of grain & 2-4t of header to take the bounce out.

Front and rears 17psi can go down to 14 the same as @snipe.
I might be tempted to drop some air out if it keeps getting wetter.

25 in ours. Could probly be abit softer but tyres not in best nick so darent risk. And it can bounce a little bit at that

The combine book recommendations is 44psi in the fronts on ours, but that is 9psi over the top pressure on the tire ratings chart. Had Michelin out to weigh the combine and the chap said he would be happy at 14psi which is 3psi off the bottom of the tire rating chart!

Case 6140 on Cerexbib 800/65 r32 front and 520/80 r26 rear. It did take a bit of persistence to get Michelin out, but in fairness I think our area rep had been off work for a bit with a back problem at the time.

Mitas SFT. 800/75r32 8800kg per tyre 14psi. And 600/65r28 2900kg per tyre 14 psi. JD t550. 20ft header 8000L tank.
