One of my "dry" hoggets lambed yesterday.

Thought it may cheer you up :bag:

Other news, about quarter of this season's lambs are away off mum, fat, and about 2-thirds of the rest are away to wherr the rains fall, getting dry as a chip down here again. Good to see this thread getting a bump again, and hope the new year finds you all in good health and spirit (y) say hi to the locals from me, @Gator

It's been abit quiet but starting to pick up now. Got sheds to sort out before they all come home for lambing, get scanner booked and it all starts again:D.
Best time of the year....love it:rolleyes::LOL::LOL:

Can't figure out how it's got to three differant batches of sheep when theyve had no contact:scratchhead:.....unless is birds :scratchhead:
there's a lot of it about.
bought in?
has something run out of cover, and the odd one carrying passengers then infected others?
(and sorry, i haven't followed the thread)

I think birds dropped scab in here one winter.
We dip carefully in nov, and suddenly had scab turn up in homebred ewes, feeding on in bye in Feb.
We're often sharing flocks of corvids with neighbours, which fly from one farm to another at feeding time. Hmm
