managed to get haylage in today finally, so thats out of way for another year(y) and wormed all lambs which are looking good, all though 1 were struck but i caught it early

hers an odd Q for you but it came up ina convo with a friend - is it better to have a full pen OR a pen in multiples of say 5 - so the buyer can do easy calcs? or even to pull out the best an have them say as a 2 or 3.
Well....I had 2 pens of 6, one of 12 and another of 16, only cos they matched size and different breeds wise. didnt make any difference in price. If there an even bunch have sold pens of 50+, the bigger buys like bigger pens.

edit one market is a really pain selling 1s, 2s, and 3s, feck it takes for ever, full day of a job stood about waiting, some will know where I mean :rolleyes:
