I will still checking mine when I’m clipping. The day you wish you never bothered is when you come back form clipping 250 hoggs and have to catch a yearling to pull a hung lamb!
Yes we've had them lamb at clipping time, in July. Usually get 1 or 2 yowes that were scanned geld come off the fell with a young unmarked lamb at clipping gather

Just counted 21 weeks back takes you to 11 Dec. Took mine out on the 16th so that last hog of mine could lamb or I’ve forgotten which one lost the big lamb🤷‍♂️

No records broken for numbers of lambs and now not much grass growing..
Not just , bugger grass twins not doin aswell as they should, put a bit of till on to try and kick start , just need some rain, .....never thout ad bi saying that :rolleyes:
