Its been a hell of lambing this year, one of them years youd like to forget. Enzo early on took it toll on the lamb crop, had more prolapses than ya can shake a stick at , fare bit of miss mothering on the twins when they got back on the moor, fox had a few but lessend them so that's stopped 👍
There was a lack of grass at turn out and still not really got going, singles are OK but twins abit behind where they should be , hopefully they'll catch up when Johnny green shows up.

Its not been as enjoyable this year..
Glad it finished...

Clipping next:rolleyes:
Lambs ull get wormed heptavac and vit drenched.

Can't see clipping starting any time soon - first day in ewes was 28th May last year (we had 580 ewes and hoggs shorn by 2nd June!). Wouldn't think even the dry hoggs be ready then this time round...

Lambs are needing cocci dose so I think that's tomorrow job. Not looking forward to it in this weather!

Lost a ewe to pneumonia yesterday in the storm. Highest hills round us are all white this morning. Winter needs to f**k off

To be honest, weather wise this whole year wants to f**k off.

......feckin mawks :banghead::banghead:
Don't worry guys, we may well have to be clipping sooner than we think.
What a year - no sooner is one crisis is over, we lurch uncontrollably into another :facepalm:

P.S. 4 lambed yesterday - just one set of twins left.
