Commercial axles

Where is the best place to get used commercial axles, and suspension. We have tried various breaker yards, but it seems luck of the draw as to whether they have anything suitable in stock. Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone who keeps a larger stock?
TIA.

Don’t know of anywhere other than try the breakers and see if they have anything like you are doing.
Where are you located?

Last trailer I built I fitted new axles and springs, by the time you’ve stripped and rebuilt them, cleaned, painted etc there’s not much in it.

I agree with this too, I've just fully refurbished some axles and have costed the parts and labour, I may as well have bought new axles and the originals only cost £50 each! Be aware there are different track widths too! So get two axles the same, measure from hub to hub for an accurate measurement. Spring setups are cheap too, just google trailer spring assemblies agricultural. Looking around £700 for a twin axle spring setup.

I've got a dray trailer project I want to get sorted for behind my unimog.
Been stood a few years now so everything is seized up.
Been thinking that it would be easier with a pair of new axles.

Where did you source your axles from?
