Could someone please advise me on a decent, cheap air compressor. Predominantly for skidsteer tyres.
Please be aware you will be replying to a total technical dimwit! :asshat:

What pressure are they?

I had a small 25l 8 bar compressor for a few years which I bought from Aldi for about £80 with a set of tools. It worked pretty well.

I now have a Clarke 100l 10bar compressor with 10mm hose which is BRILLIANT for blowing up tractor tyres, cleaning radiators etc. It cost nearer £500-600 so quite a bit more but I wouldn't be without it. I have a small 25l version here too which comes in useful here and there too as it's portable but I'm glad it's not my only compressor.

Just splay the axle out a bit when you put the wheels on, as the little plugs that should hold the wheels on aren’t strong enough for farm use.

Got a SGS chinese-made one here - early days - seems to do the job. Did break a component and the replacement ("metal") bit was so light it felt like it was plastic! If I was buying again I`d pay more for one made in Europe!! Some staff at SGS lacked a bit of tact too...!
As a matter of interest it looks VERY like the cheaper one`s from Machine Mart.....;)

Air industrial equipment. UK made. Good back up when needed. They can advise what'll do your job no bother. Support British where you can.
