Would it keep the protein high enough? Probably not far off.
Would you up the barley to 60%?
You just have to do what you can with what you have got. I just use my own barley plus some bought and get a mill wagon in to crush and add a little mollasses and acid. Tip Davidsons general purpose cake(£298/ton) in next to it and shovel the two into bags. If i feel strong i feed more barley in the mix and into troughs. If i dont feel so good i feed more cake in the mix and find the driest part of the field i can and feed on the floor.

Not very scientific but the ewes have lambs every year. :)

If i was a rich man,i would feed rolls through a snacker on the floor.

I priced some straights up last month then I priced straights up in the quantities I could cope with as far as storage goes.
It really depends where you are and what’s available. If you can’t deal with artic loads of various straights then it’s either buying 10/20 tonnes of each which looses the shine of mixing yourself. A blend bought and picked up with a trailer is almost the cheapest option if you can’t buy full loads.

Lambing ewe mix
Hi pro soya, barley, barley, oats or sbp, maize Of some sort Ground or Cooked or distillers + minerals. 4 ingredients all at 20% inclusion (barley in twice so 40%). That’s what I’d go for. Interestingly if you bought the ingredients in bulk you wouldn’t be far off £250 a ton for that mix!!

Be interesting to get a price for something like that off a mill to be delivered in pellets or rolls
You can get rolls of that quality but they're up near £400/ton

Just a quick calculation
10% hope soya
35% barley
10% oats
10% beet pulp
15% maize
20% dark distillers grains

Works out at20.32 crud protin

13.5 me
There would be some percent rduction for every one percent mineral addition and a bit of molasses.

looks a good mix, a lot depends on what quality forage is used, but where only straw is fed what ingredients are people using with it
