I've just checked the invoice and that's what it is. I think it has gone up recently but they were 20quid cheaper than GLW, Dugdales and Masseys when they quoted us before the price rise, and I'm guessing everyone's prices have gone up the same.
Dugdales would have forward bought it at a lower price then shoved a lump onto it

Dugdales made a massive cock up with pricing to groups back in the summer, and so had to shoot the price up to compensate. One manager lost his job as a result. I used to work there so know all the goings on.
One of the reps was here years ago. They quoted me a price on some cake I was getting at the time and it was around £20 a tonne more than what I was paying. When I said I was getting it cheaper direct the rep replied ‘well we have bought it too dear so that’s what you have to pay’ I didn’t get any!

Anyone care to tell me what they have draff and pot ale booked in at for the winter?
I realise the prices have gone up but just wanted to check how far my leg is being lifted

Draff was 45 last time I looked pot ale wasn’t too bad can’t remember the figure for it. It was allocated ages ago but digesters bought most of it
