Is it still cheaper when you take out the water though? Have too get DM the same before comparing prices really
That is what i meant, if you compare both on a 100%DM basis they are. How consistent is the dry matter is the thing to consider. For example Trafford Gold can be vary variable because it is 2 part syrup and 1 part wheatfeed. If a load of syrup is wetter than an other the blend will be much wetter and not at the stated 50%DM, if the load is dry it will be over 50%DM and then you are quids in. With the Duynie Moist mixes i believe they have nearly a dozen ingredients so the DM% variability is much more stable, so if 1 moist product is wetter than it should be it doesn't have a massive impact on the total DM% of the product you get on farm.

A man has pleaded guilty at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in Newtownards, Co. Down.

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbot’s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined £150 each and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gill’s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.
