Haha nah its not full of bugs and mould it weighed 492kg for a half tote full that's about usual weights of rolled barley

Well done if you can buy it for that was still being quoted £209 ex for barley on Friday. But my point was you sometime it cheap for a reason.

I use promol 40 urea based liquid
Does cattle well I don’t think the protein is as good as soya but still a good product

This is the powder version must be the same sort of thing I bet. Not cheap, but no protein is atm!

We buy it mixed we use 20% for sheep and 40% for feeding store cattle
You are talking about the bags they mix in
Urea isn’t what they call a true protein it activates the stomach however it does work some folks aren’t keen on the idea we’ve been using it for years since potale got harder to get hold of

Looking at the ticket I might be using that now. I had 1000ltrs of beef buddy delivered last week and the rep said something about 40%.

If that's the same as what you use L1, is it good in your opinion and how much do you add per head/day?

Good question I have been doing that long I don’t even think about it
Feeding these lot at the moment 26 in here gets 150 litres a week mixed in feed
Don’t ask me if that’s right or wrong
Some others are on ball feeders my lad is on with them they aren’t taking as much
KW website will be worth a look
