Concrete grooving

I’m looking for something that I’m not sure exists. I’ve had a friend ring me this morning wants his yard making more grippy first cattle. Because it’s his main yard and for 90% of the time there is no cattle in he does not want grooves. Does anyone know if there’s any other methods going? Like scrabbling?

The concrete is already down? A shallow groove wont be noticeable driving across but will be grippy for cattle, it will hold dirt though. If its his main yard though I'd be inclined to keep it the way it is and sawdust it whenever cattle will be going on it.

he doesn’t want grooves. It isn’t just for cows it’s to give trucks traction as well

That’s perfect, what machine is that??
Think it’s called either a concrete flail or a scarifier, I hired one years ago to level up a floor before laying screed.

Now I know it's a long time ago but our 130 Fresians soon polished a slab of concrete to the inevitable mirror smooth. Great for scraping out but yes they still slipped occasionally going round the corners.
I did however mull this over @RWG Contracts and how about scrabbling in lines as if you were mowing with a Dennis?
See the result of your efforts the following year and then perhaps go accross the opposite way. Me I'd still be concerned about removing too much of the top layer hence the caution.
One good frosty winter may wreck the scrabbled area and thus the yard as ice is a powerful force to be up against.
