Thinking of getting the scrape ways done in the cubicle sheds. How good a job is it. How much does it cost orcan you hire a machine and do it yourself. All advice place

Just got a 110' X 12' passage done for 320 euro plus vat. Two men took two hours. But I had took up scraper track and power washed passage so was very easy for them

Have heard vermot are good. They go deeper and wider, but only one direction.

We're happy with Vermot, they re-grooved all our yards and passageways about 5 years ago and it's standing up well.

Ok thanks for the advice every body. What kind of money would i expect to pay per square metre for it. How clean does the floor have to be.

We've done a lot of grooving and re-grooving over the last 2 years, a no brainer really. Not had a cow do the splits for ages especially freshly calved ones. Cleaner the better really but not immaculate, some firms will clean it for you. It usually gets cheaper if you have a days worth of grooving to do.

It does soon reckon up, but if you've got cows and smooth concrete, it's way better and cheaper than a casualty! Another vote for Surface Technicians here too.
