I've a magi-screed and a roller striker,the magi-screed is good for moving concrete and levelling,the roller does a good job to finish.

Personally I'd hire them in,no idea in your part of the country.

I think it's depends on the use, if your using shuttering then I'd say the bottom, if your putting in level floors then the magiscreed.

Pts sales on eBay usually have them, if they haven't it's worth ringing them and they'll find a decent one.

Magi screed snd bull float for smaller amounts ,hire in for bigger jobs

Dual beam creeds are good till you come to lift them off. Roller screeds are better but can leave the surface a bit rough.

no not really ,its more a free hand type device ,bit of practice

You can run a magic screed on roadforms if you want
Far easier than a beam type

You can but have to be careful with the revs to high and it will start bouncing
We find if you spread it level with a lazer all you need to do is pull the screed over the concrete
