Concrete sleepers for tracks

Your best bet will probably be going straight to Network Rail at Westbury. Glancing at a map Llandovery would be a similar distance from Westbury as Plymouth. I had 1000 in November and I think they were £6.50 each. I can dig out a number if you want one.

Don't want highjack the thread but if anyone around this area [ Blackdown hills, somerset ] is getting some and want to share a load I could do with a few
Or if someone had a few not to far away that they want to sell ?

Straight on the ground, if they're going where cows have been walking on an unsurfaced track before then we'll run the powerharrow down it first to level it.

They may be expensive initially but they are truly zero maintenance. Stone tracks need work every year to keep them in good condition.

We started laying them nearly 10 years ago now and I think they're brilliant, I've lost track of how many we've put down now, I should think its somewhere around 12-15000.

We've had some stone tracks in for 9 years now, never done any maintenance to any of them, I think you need the right stuff.
