Ours is in the ground. On the one side we poured the concrete on the slope. Easy to do when you have a 360 operator who knows what he's doing . Wish I got pictures of him tamping and floating it with his bucket. It really was a sight to see.
On the other side where we were tight for space we put steels in then dropped panels in and sealed them. Just have to be mindful of the back pressure of the earth hence the panels are dropped in the steels.

Just to jump in on your thread.... we have thought about putting a building up with panels sealed between legs to 12-16ft high and filling with slurry, would this work?

Seen an above ground slurry shed made from panels and iron. Not that high though maybe 8ft/two panels. Current owners turned it into a lambing shed though.

has anyone made a slurry store sunk in the ground with concrete panels?
Would normally just earth line a lagoon, but not so much space this time, so looking at concrete.

Ta

No reason why it wouldn't work,6.1mx1.5m X.150 panels would be just the job.

Ah sorry I was thinking panels dropped in between the posts
How much more would poured walls cost?

I shuttered some 12" walls last year and they came out similar to 4" panels, only downside with shutters is the time it takes (n) you can spend a lot of time getting the tie bolts in when they keep hitting the mesh.:banghead:

Is it possible to dig out a trench to the desired size and pour with concrete like footings for a house then dig the middle and lay the floor?
