Last bulk load I had was a 6 cb ,£550 I think it was , shy of £4500 inc vat just for concrete ,probably gone up in the last 5 years

Last lot we had few months ago was about £500 for 6cb.

So what’s it cost per meter for someone to lay a sq m. I’ll sort the concrete myself and it’ll all be shuttered, just need someone to pour it in tamp it off and power float it !.

It’s a shed floor 465sq m give or take 1or2

We had a quote in today from a well-known large company (starts with "M") for a 6"slab 10m x 12m of C40 with rebar mesh and damp-proof course, they pour and screed. £85/m2. Not bad I thought for £85/m3 since they make the stuff and sell it to the customer for £100/m3. NOPE. Per m2. When queried he said they had "large overheads". Over £10K. FTFAL.

Everyone has different ways of working it out depending on number of pours, depth, fibres or mesh etc. We have a number of different spreadsheets that we put the measurements in to price it up.
Is it one width straight bays ? Give us a clue. Lots of smaller bays with bends ?
