I found that my shipping container was a lot less prone to condensation when I let the illegal immigrants out of it.

Two things to help.
1) Make sure nothing goes in wet, and I mean nothing.
2) Treat the roof and the first 300mm sides ( from the top ) with Grafotherm.

I have 60 self storage containers, all bought as single trip and treated with Grafotherm, the contract states nothing goes in that is wet or creates moisture. In 4 years I have not had a problem with condensation.

I’ve a couple that have incidental storage in, nothing of value usually door left loosely latched or just open a crack, no condensation so it’s all about ventilation

I think the most important thing is, never open the door when it's raining and if there is any condensation in there, open the doors on a sunny day to dry it all out.

Would the wind powered rotary extraction fans that are put on vans be any good on shipping containers to aid ventilation, in conjuction with inlet vents of course?

I used to use containers daily for work and never had any condensation despite opening in the rain and running in and out with muddy wheels. I was always surprised.
