Congratulations and what better Christmas present could anyone wish for!
They don't stay like that for long, soon it will be unicorns and then ponies then boys!

I wish you all the best!

When my cousin rang and told me they had their first child, a girl, he mentioned the fact he would now have to save to pay for a wedding, I said thats not a problem I said, I got two boys and will have to buy another farm!🙈

(but No reason why a lady can't farm IMHO)

Funny, after my second daughter was born I texted round some close mates, to say, that was it, I'll get to retire and sell up in my fifties.😃😃

Here we are 16 years later and my youngest daughter is making a great job of rearing calves, and lambing ewes. Retirement is disappearing over the horizon 🤣🤣

At one point the midwife did ask me what contraptions we use with the stock...... completely forgot about the "rack"..... can you imagine trying to explain that 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Congratulations Dave.

Before my daughter was born by c section midwife asked me what we were having so I said that we are having a little heifer oh she said can you spell that for me, so I did and I never though anything else about it
Anyway couple hours later after misses was all stitched back up from section and we were back on recovery ward another midwife came around looking for a little girl called heifer lots off other people looking around and I’m sat there thinking heifer who would call there daughter that. 🤷‍♂️
Then penny dropped and I cracked up laughing.
Suffice to say nurses and midwives were not happy at all at having to go back and change lots off paper work to Elsie Anne
I still blame the 1st midwife for asking the wrong question 😂

Congratulations, great news at the end of this miserable year.🍾

At least as she gets older you’ll be able to easily remember what year she was born.
