I am considering purchasing an I pad for use in my pick up and at my isolated shed. I am on O2 with my phone ,the signal is very variable, some times I can get 4g but not very consistent.
Which is the most cost effective way to get connected to an IPad in rural areas.
Do you find YOUR iPad useful while out and about.
Thank you for any suggestions

Yes. I either tether it to my phone or my car, one car has its own data modem and alternative account. Phone is BT through EE and the car is on 3 network.
If there is landline internet at your isolated shed, connect it to that, but you probably don't have that luxury by the sound of it.

Wireless modem on the O2 mobile network might work?
Then wifi from the modem to the pad, it can connect to 8 individual devices.
Huawei E5332 worked for us under similar conditions. You will have to move it to get strongest signal and leave it there.
You will have at least 7 days to try it, if it doesn't work try another provider.
