Hence why I have a small milk pump,slow steady pumping.
I also have another pump I switch on for washing,cheap simple and effective.
Yes,have a tee piece under the vessel,turn other pump on once washing,same couplings in the milk line so if the milk pump fails for any reason you just swap pipes.@eulb do you still do this? I've given up with my variable speed pump but struggling to get wash water returning to the dairy quick enough.
