Conspiracy theories

Do conspiracy theories ever turn out to be true?

There have been loads recently & people repeat them until, certain sectors actually beleive them.

But was Elvis really working in a chip shop, back in 1986, 8 years after he died.

Did Hitler retire to run a poultry farm in Argentina.

Was Princess Di killed by Prince Phillips personnal security guard.

I believe very few if any of them.

Don’t believe princess di one
It would be very hard to kill someone by car accident in limousine
I would think
Shooting more believable

A theory is just a theory untill there is evidence to prove it the scientific method
covid 19 evidence is freely available that proves it exists
vaccines work evidence proves that smallpox eliminated

conspiracy theorists ignore the evidence so cannot see the evidence that proves the theory

the theory was that the earth was flat and that you would fall off the edge but once people started coming back and had seen the other side
conspiracy theorists still believe the earth is flat
I have traveled round the world and seen the swirl down the plug hole that goes the other way round on the bottom side

Which begs the question DA - which ones do you believe, as you state you believe very few if any of them, which kinda indicates you do believe some???

Just a turn of phrase.

Danilan made the good point about Churchill in the 30's.

Many said foot & mouth was a plot to get rid of farmers.

But it was a goverment research station with badly maintained drains & the first outbreak followed an extremely wet autumn.

So 100% sure no plot, but bad mangement & maintaince.

It sticks in the throat a bit.

Nicky Campbell (whose show I enjoy) trying to persuade people to get covid vaciation also the MMR childrens vaccination, when 15 years ago he was fanning the flames of consiracists who said MMR was causing autism.

Politicians have no need to conspire, just dream up policies, give them to their private polling unit and enact the most popular.
Scientists then provide advice required to support
No conspiracy, just a collection of people following their own self interest.

Local contractor I know of was buying huge quantities of railway sleepers 6 months before foot and mouth in 2001, worked out well for him.

Conspiracies as I see them tend to come from the far left ie the jews are to blame for everything. Or the far right ie that black lives matter are wholey resposible for the spread of covid 19 & the WHO helped to spread covid 19.

Are there any centre ground (as I consider myself to be) conspiracy theories?

To answer my own question I suppose climate change is beleived by many to be a conspiracy. I believe climate change is real, assisted by Man but we can't blame every single weather event onto climate change and some changes may even bring benefit.

Coincidence

It's all those little coincidence s that add up to fact. Far to many little bits of evidence some times. Would Tony Blair have been an establishment hero if he had got more to stop farming at the time and make easier way for the great British wild life park? Just a silly thought, but was huge load of timber ready for pires at raf Leeming that was used. Coincidence?? Possible. But area 51, did they really do an alien autopsies. Think human nature some times interprets how the information holder wishes.

What I think is that possibly 90% of things labelled as conspiracy theory are not true. The rest might be. There are some nasty barstewards out there. I do not trust these globalist cuntss for one second.
