Costello grows well here, not far from you. Good disease scores and suitable for second/continuous wheats. Late to mature though. Gleam is worth a look too. Skyfall needs careful disease management now but has a place if you want milling or early maturity.

What sort of yields can you expect from continuous wheats compared to first and seconds?
compared to 2nd ww ,sometimes a bit better sometimes on a par sometimes a bit worse , if you can establish a catch crop it helps onto a stale ploughed seedbed , Usually the third w is harvestable earlyish and we wouldnt be sowing until into october,helps keeps disease and grass weed under out .Also helps make the seedbed for the ww ,though now the benefits of catch crop re greening has gone another reason for growing is diminishing though does give us somewhere to spread muck with less pressure if no catch crop
