Growing a niche crop is one thing getting it in the barn to the spec rqd is another, and most important of all getting paid for it
Many a farmers bank account / cashflow have been knocked for six by get rich quick niche crops.
But what do I know .

All very true, I've had this conversation with a few folks now.

I've asked to see all the contracts before they go out to farmers, that way I can make sure it works for all parties, not just the proposer.

I'm also working to get some approved lines of credit established. That way we can help any farmers growing our crops to have everything they need, with no expenses up front. Cant make to many promises there, but I am working on it.

Very well, the crop is industrial hemp.

I was cagey about posting this before as someone else had recently posted asking similar and received a lot of flak for it.

I was hoping to avoid this.

How do you harvest it?

You harvest it with a specialist header that can be fitted to almost any combine, we can provide more details and talk you through most of the process involved if you like?

Starting to become more mainstream cropping here, I would suggest that your largest problem could be your weather pattern.
Good luck though, its' good to have alternative crop.
