Around 350ha so that's 10per ha so fairly good. Should of cut a week or so earlier but the weather wasn't with us. Looks like we will cut for hay Monday 60ha [emoji2]. How's things looking for you?

Wow 350 hectares - how many cows do you have? July down south has been good so far, lots of rain which has really helped our spring crops. Some blokes getting eager to start the second cut, I'm in no rush though.

We are just waiting for some better weather to make are second cut. The weather after1st cut was dry so second cut has been slow to grow , but it's Wet now [emoji57] wholecrop is looking good. Maybe 300 to 400 bales. Looks some nice soil there. How are you getting on with your grass ?

It's nice soil indeed, light clay with not a stone in sight... The second cut here was done a few weeks ago, yielded better than expected thanks to rain in july. The Maize is looking good aswell, I guess you don't grow that up north because of the climate? Do you do a third cut or is the second cut the last of the season?

Sounds good. we just farm a large area 2 cut is enough and 30 ha wholecrop silage There is a few around us that do a 3 cuts but not many. Maize we can only wish [emoji57] you can send to us if you like [emoji12]
