Contractor of year 2018

Good a dipping contractor in final. Lots of cynics said last years finalist won because they ran lots of JD tractors and they advertised in farmers weekly.
Its different from the run of the mill agri contractor thats what i would say personally! However the other chap has a fantastic buisness and cant tak anything away from him best of luck thats a i can say.

Would say some tales about dipping in 50s 60s are old wives tales ?
Which old wives tales?
Extremely poor PPE and no idea on how bad the dips back then were weren’t realised until years later. OP’s were also used on cattle to stop flies, often being poured onto beasts standing next to you where a certain amount would land back onto the operator.

In terms of this day and age though compulsory dipping should be returned, sheep scab in particular is at an all time high - this is being covered frequently in the L&F section so I’m not going to bore in here on it etc..

Good luck @The sheep dipper man
