We used round tubes on all our control boxes with a smaller diameter ones fixed in the cab. Cheap, strong and can be mounted where you want

Had one of those with a Centreline 220 GPS box - drove me crazy the number of times it dropped off!
I have Brocken the screen twice on my raven cruiser with a ram mount on a suction cup.both times it hit the throttle pedal.after the second visit to David king I made a clamp to attach it on the cab frame.still has a ram mount on top for adjustment

Every single control box here is on 1.5” ram mounts. 3-4 balls in each tractor as well.
Cost a small fortune over the years but will last forever and so easy and quick to swap control boxes.
Used to make custom mounts for each box in each tractor, adapt them for a new tractor etc, ram mounts are cheap compared to that waste of time.

Thats the kind of thing thats on it now.

Run a damp finger around the rim of the suction cup before applying to clean glass - Maybe even a sliver of silicone sealant.

Have used one of them to hold a car window up when the leccy winder went caput before now ;) The biggest problem was getting it off when I repaired it 3 months later....
