Sounds like a good plan

you are far more likely to die of obesity or diabetes or heart disease than anything else

about 120,000 people die annually from war, but 1.5 million from diabetes. . .

we consume about 3 x the calories required, we waste about 30% of food produced & obesity is the biggest health problem there is

you are more likely to die from obesity related illness than you are from starvation

“feeding the world” is a sh!t mantra you’ve all unquestionably swallowed without thinking about it

sh!t - if someone was to pay me to rewild / go back to nature, I’d never go near another tractor ever again

Has he seen the maps showing predictions for sea level rise? Bearing in mind they're worst case scenario and not to be taken as definite outcomes, they still give cause for concern.

A century isn't that long. Plant trees, or allow wilding without consideration for food production even 30 years ahead, and it will be his children and grandchildren, or his siblings' children and grandchildren who will suffer.

I think 50% of scientists should be converted to farmers.....

But then scientists gave us BSE by reducing the rendering temperature.
It was following scientists advice that gave us anthelmintic resistance.
It was scientists who poisoned us with DDT and OP's.
It was Pirbright that gave us F & M.

Perhaps we should just keep 'em locked in their laboratories.

It wouldn't take long to turn forested / re wilded land bank into very fertile productive land should? ! the need arise.

Depends on person power, and speed of rise in sea level. Will our successors have the means to do all that?

One thing's for certain, millions of people will need to be living on, and growing food on floating platforms.

Will you help clear snow?
