Anyone ever do this.field coil is damaged and can't get a 220v one but I can get a 110v version.it seems to be the same armature listed for 110 and 220.is there anything else I should look at or check?

You will double the current if you halve the voltage so make sure you are using appropriate sized cables for the mains cord on the saw and any extension lead. Check the on/off switch is also the same part number.
