Converting JD 6830 to auto Trac ready

Has anyone converted a 30 series John Deere to make it autotrac ready. I've bought my first autosteer green Star kit for my 7530 but that's already auto Trac ready. I drill with the 6830 so would like autosteer on that too. I do have an atu200 wheel motor but would prefer proper autosteer though the valves because the atu 200 is clumsy.

Dealer said around £5k to convert it but wondered if it's something I could do myself if I bought the parts because it's not viable if I spend that much by the time I've bought a screen and dome ontop of the £5k

Have you priced an atu300? Pretty sure they pipe into the hydraulics.
An autotrac ready 30 series tractor has a different front axle housing for the angle sensor so I personally wouldn’t go down that route. I’d have a look for a universal adapter kit.

I was meaning the autosteer 300 not the atu 300. It’s a hydraulic add on kit but I’ve no idea of price -
